MGM Resorts International’s subsidiary, MGM Yonkers Inc., has officially submitted an application for a casino license to the New York Gaming Commission and the Gaming Facility Location Board, alongside an ambitious $2.3 billion expansion proposal for its Empire City Casino property.

He added that obtaining a full casino license is essential for ensuring that the location remains economically and culturally significant for years ahead.
