SBC Summit Malta is a more expansive and all-encompassing event that will replace SBC’s annual conference and expo in Malta. The rebranding signifies a change from the previous CasinoBeats Summit to a more comprehensive event that aims to include other aspects of the gambling business. The action is a component of SBC’s plan to integrate its events with its global portfolio in order to increase their effect and reach.
Expanding Horizons for Gaming Industry Professionals
Previously focused primarily on casino gaming, SBC Summit Malta will broaden its reach to include panels and workshops across diverse gaming verticals. In 2025, the event will cover sports betting, payments, affiliation, and in-depth regulatory discussions, while also continuing its emphasis on the casino sector. Workshops will address critical topics, such as VIP player acquisition, game design, bonus abuse, and cutting-edge technology.
“SBC Summit Malta represents a step forward in our mission to create comprehensive events that serve the entire gaming community,” said Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC. “Every part of the event is designed to give attendees meaningful connections, practical insights, and real opportunities to achieve their business goals.”
The event will also feature the SBC Awards Europe, a revamped version of the Game Developer Awards, expanding its categories to honor innovation across all gaming sectors. SBC Summit Malta will bring together a more diverse audience, with 5,500 delegates, including 2,000 operators and 750 affiliates, representing various disciplines. This marks a significant increase in affiliate and marketing participation, which saw nearly 50% growth in 2024.
In order to provide an interesting social component to the event, INFINITY Malta, a well-known EDM party with world-renowned DJs like Afrojack, Alok, and Steve Aoki, will also be included.
The purpose of the event’s revamped exhibition floor is to give sponsors and exhibitors the most visibility possible, particularly those aiming to reach the leading iGaming markets in Malta and Europe.
By changing its name, SBC Summit Malta not only solidifies its place in the world of gaming but also reaffirms Malta’s position as a major industrial hub.
