The most recent information about Wynn Resorts’ ambitious Wynn Al Marjan Island project in the United Arab Emirates has been released. This resort will be the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates when it opens in early 2027.
55% of the structural concrete has already been finished, indicating that the project is moving along nicely. Currently, over 100 concrete trucks are on-site every day, and over 9,100 personnel are actively working on the project. The resort’s tower has advanced significantly during construction, rising 44 meters in just 100 days.
Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, will feature 1,121 guest rooms, with 73% of the tower’s structure now completed. Currently, 820 rooms are being fitted with essential utilities and finishes, including walls, floors, and ceilings, along with the necessary mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
Wynn’s Vision and Collaboration
This beachfront resort will span 62 hectares along the Arabian Gulf. Wynn Resorts is working alongside Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding to develop the project. With over 90 architects and designers on board, the resort promises a top-tier destination. The construction team aims to complete the project’s towering structure by December 2025, with the final resort expected to redefine luxury in the UAE.
David Van Andel, Chief Design and Development Officer at Wynn Resorts, remarked, “We are thrilled with the progress so far and look forward to delivering a world-class resort in one of the most exciting destinations in the world.”
