The Education Trust Fund received a significant boost as well, with contributions rising by nearly $1 million over the prior year to total $49.5 million.

Maryland’s steady gaming revenue growth, even amid individual property declines, continues to positively impact state funding for essential services, especially education. As the state’s casinos push forward, Maryland expects these contributions to remain a vital part of its financial ecosystem.
