Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has officially launched BetRivers, a new online poker platform, now live in Pennsylvania with plans for expansion. In a partnership with poker professional Phil Galfond, RSI aims to deliver an online poker experience designed with players at all skill levels in mind.
CEO Richard Schwartz shared RSI’s vision for BetRivers, explaining, “We are incredibly excited about the launch of this platform. Our goal is to create a seamless experience for players, bridging the gap between the BetRivers digital and Rivers Casino offerings.” Schwartz noted that by combining RSI’s digital expertise with Rush Street Gaming’s casino presence, they intend to create a poker platform that appeals to both new and experienced players. This collaboration provides a unified experience across BetRivers’ digital platform and Rush Street’s physical locations.
Phil Galfond, a well-known name in online poker and an advisor on this project, emphasized the platform’s player-focused approach. He said, “As poker players, we designed this platform from the ground up to be for the players—all players. From the amateur playing their very first hand to the sophisticated pro, everyone was kept in mind as we focused on fairness, excitement, and generous rewards that truly benefit the player.” Galfond has been closely involved in the platform’s development, from game design to policies and promotions, working with a team that shares his vision for the online poker experience.
