Giuseppe Pantaleo, hailing from Germany but now residing in Las Vegas, secured first place at the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Las Vegas Main Event. With a $1,700 entry fee, the tournament drew 669 participants, exceeding the $500,000 guarantee to create a total prize pool of $1,013,535. Pantaleo won $192,831 and earned his third WSOPC gold ring through this event.

Reflecting on his achievement, Pantaleo expressed relief and joy after a challenging period in his career. “Yeah, this feels very good because the last five years have been pretty bad in tournaments for me. I’m just very happy to get the weight off my shoulders and have some success,” he shared with WSOP reporters. Despite considering a shift towards cash games for a more consistent income, Pantaleo found rewarding success in this tournament, further solidifying his career earnings to over $2.2 million.

Pantaleo’s victory adds a third WSOPC ring to his collection, with his prior two victories coming from online competitions. He is also recognized for winning the 2018 WSOP $1,000 tag team event.
