Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), a major provider of test services and consulting to the iGaming sector, has just acquired iTech Labs, a renowned online gaming testing laboratory. This acquisition strengthens GLI’s market position and allows them to keep up with the rapid rise of online gaming production.
GLI Australia has acquired full control of iTech Labs as part of the transaction, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Australian corporation. iTech Labs has vast experience testing and certifying a wide range of casino games for online gaming platforms. With operations dating back to 2004, iTech Labs has established itself as an industry trusted and reliable partner.
GLI’s global presence will be expanded with the acquisition of iTech Labs’ verticals in Italy and the United Kingdom. The laboratory has a highly qualified crew that performs extensive tests and offers customers with frequent test reports. They have also contributed to the creation of Australian Internet Gaming Standards, demonstrating their dedication to industry best practises.
GLI emphasises that iTech Labs will continue to operate its global network of testing laboratories independently. However, the two companies will work together to synchronise their global operations and capitalise on each other’s assets.
According to GLI, the deal benefits both companies. Clients of iTech Labs will receive access to GLI’s global network of laboratories as well as the consultancy firm’s ties with regulators globally. GLI and its newly acquired subsidiary are expected to benefit from the larger customer base.
GLI CEO James R. Maida recently recognised that online gaming production had surpassed that of land-based casino items. GLI remains committed to supporting industry demands by increasing employment levels in response to this trend. The acquisition of iTech Labs demonstrates GLI’s commitment to meeting the increasing needs of the iGaming industry.
The statement of the GLI’s president and chief executive James R.Maida reads: “We are pleased iTech will continue to be branded as iTech and will operate as they have over the past 19 years. We are pleased that Kiren Sreekumar, Geoff Nicoll, nAni Srinivasan, and the entire management, testing and sales teams will continue to operate and be licensed in the jurisdictions they serve.”
Kiren Sreekumar, CEO and principal consultant of iTech Labs, reportedly added: “The GLI Group shares our values and deep commitment to providing our customers best-in-class service and are exceedingly pleased with this investment. While iTech has achieved great success over the past many years, with the GLI Group’s support we are confident that iTech’s growth will be enhanced and thereby benefiting our customers.”
GLI improves its position as a leading provider of testing services and reinforces its commitment to delivering quality in the constantly increasing online gaming business with this strategic move.
