Yaamava’ Resort & Casino Retains AAA Five Diamond Rating for Third Year

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel in California has earned the AAA Five Diamond designation for the third consecutive year in 2026, remaining the only casino resort in the United States to hold the hospitality rating.

Good to know

• Yaamava’ remains the only US casino resort with an AAA Five Diamond designation.
• Fewer than 1% of approximately 23,000 AAA-inspected hotels qualify for the highest rating.
• The California casino resort also ranked second nationally among casino hotels in the AAA 2026 Diamond Top 10 list.

Yaamava’ Celebrates 40 Years With Another Hospitality Award

The latest recognition follows the 40th anniversary of Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, celebrated in July 2026.

Operated by the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, the property has developed into a luxury casino and hospitality destination in California.

General Manager Kenji Hall credited the tribal nation and resort employees for maintaining service standards.

“Inspired by the enduring commitment the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation has demonstrated in stewarding this enterprise, this recognition reflects the dedication and passion our team members have brought to every guest interaction over the past 40 years,” Hall said.

Meanwhile, Yaamava’ secured second place among US casino hotels in the AAA 2026 Diamond Top 10 rankings.

AAA Five Diamond Rating Requires Unannounced Inspections

AAA awards its Five Diamond designation to fewer than 1% of the roughly 23,000 hotels it evaluates.

Inspectors conduct unannounced property visits and assess accommodation quality, amenities, service and the overall guest experience.

Hotels must continue meeting the standards to retain their designation each year.

Hall said:

“Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation has long invested in creating a world-class destination for our guests, and maintaining our AAA Five Diamond status for a third consecutive year reflects that commitment to excellence, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences.
