Foxwoods Resort Casino combined $34.1 million in August 2026 slot revenue with a new gaming area at The Fox Tower, while players collected more than $21 million from jackpots during the month.
Good to Know
Foxwoods opened an Innovation Zone at The Fox Tower during August, adding electronic table games, poker formats and newer slot concepts from Interblock, ATI, IGT and Light & Wonder.
The casino described the dedicated gaming area as the first of its kind outside Las Vegas. Foxwoods plans to add more games and interactive experiences over the coming months.
Financially, August slot play produced $34.1 million in revenue. Under the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation agreement with Connecticut, $8.53 million went directly to the state. The payment equals about 25% of reported slot revenue.
The revenue-sharing arrangement has generated more than $4.9 billion for the Connecticut budget since 1993, giving Foxwoods slot performance a direct link to state revenue.
Players also had a busy month. Foxwoods paid more than $21 million across 3,106 jackpots during August.
SummerFest promotions continued alongside regular casino gaming. Offers included entries for the $300,000 Winner Take All SummerFest Sweepstakes, double Rewards Points and Tier Credits on Mondays, more than 100 Play Thursdays gift options and Bingo Unleashed on Aug. 1.
