Ho Chunk Gaming Beloit Sets October 23 Casino Opening

Ho Chunk Gaming Beloit will open its casino floor on October 23, giving the Ho Chunk Nation a seventh gaming location in Wisconsin and starting the first phase of a much larger Beloit resort.

Doors will open to the public at 2 p.m. at 777 Willowbrook Road near Interstate 90. The casino will then operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Casino Opens Before Hotel Phase

Guests will initially get access to the casino, dining venues and parking garage while construction continues on the resort portion.

The gaming floor will include blackjack, Texas hold’em, 3 Card Poker, Mississippi Stud and Ultimate Texas Hold’em alongside roughly 1,300 slots. Dining options include Draft Picks Pub House, Black River Coffee Shop and Food Truck Alley.

The second phase will add an 18 floor hotel with 312 rooms, a rooftop lounge, lobby bar, pool and spa. A 2,000 seat conference center will open alongside it, with both scheduled for fall 2027.

The phased opening gives Ho Chunk a gaming operation in Beloit roughly a year before the full resort comes online.

Beloit Becomes Seventh Ho Chunk Gaming Location

Ho Chunk Gaming already operates properties in Black River Falls, Madison, Nekoosa, Tomah, Wisconsin Dells and Wittenberg. Beloit will become location number seven.

The Beloit area also carries deeper importance for the Ho Chunk Nation. A large historic settlement known as Kečąk, or Turtle Village, once stood near modern Beloit.

Ho Chunk Nation President Jon Greendeer said:

HBG Design handled the property design, while Corporate Contractors Inc. serves as general contractor.

Once the casino, hotel and conference facilities are all operating, the project is expected to employ around 1,500 workers, which would make Ho Chunk one of the largest employers in Beloit.
