New Jersey online casino revenue reached $259.3 million in August, extending a long run above $250 million even as Atlantic City casinos and sportsbooks posted weaker results.
Internet gaming win increased 4.4% from August 2025, according to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Revenue fell 6.4% from the July record of $276.9 million but still took 2026 online casino revenue to $2.13 billion.
Good to Know
Atlantic City casino win went the other way in August. The nine casino hotels generated $294.9 million, down 5.5% from $311.9 million a year earlier. However, casino win remained 1.8% higher for the first eight months at $2.01 billion.
Sportsbooks also had a weaker month. New Jersey sports betting gross revenue dropped to $61.4 million, down 25%. The DGE linked the decline to a later fall sports calendar, including college football, and a lower overall win percentage. Year to date sportsbook revenue stood at $671.4 million, down 5.3%.
Total New Jersey gaming revenue came to $615.7 million in August, down 4.1%. Even so, revenue through August increased 5.4% to $4.81 billion. Gambling taxes reached $81.5 million for the month and $674.2 million for 2026 through August.
FanDuel remained the largest New Jersey online casino brand with $56.7 million in August revenue. DraftKings followed with $43.5 million, while BetMGM generated $35.1 million.
Fanatics continued to grow faster than several larger rivals. Revenue increased 30.7% to $13.1 million, while its year to date total more than doubled to $106.4 million. Golden Nugget reached $11.3 million and BetRivers posted $10.7 million.
Bet365 increased 46.6% to $3.4 million, while Resorts Casino reached $2.6 million. Newer Caesars brands Betinia, Vegas Club Casino and Ember Casino also contributed to the expanding New Jersey iGaming market.
