Kaban Hotel and Casino Boracay will open its doors on September 16, adding a PAGCOR licensed gaming venue to one of the Philippines best known tourism destinations.
Golden TW Realty and Development is behind the six storey property at Station 0. The developer describes Kaban as the first casino hotel on Boracay. A formal opening is planned for October.
Good to Know
Gaming forms a central part of the resort rather than operating as a small hotel amenity. PAGCOR regulates licensed land based casinos in the Philippines and sets requirements covering game integrity, responsible gambling and access controls.
Kaban will also offer seven food and beverage venues, a spa, outdoor pool, VIP lounge, childrens play area, café and rooftop bar.
Kevin Wong, president and chief executive of Kaban Hotel and Casino, said:
“Kaban is more than a destination. It is our promise to bring world-class entertainment and heartfelt Filipino hospitality together, creating a place where culture, leisure, and celebration come together.”
The September 16 date also appears on the official Kaban website, which is already promoting gaming offers and hotel dining from opening day.
Golden TW is building out Station 0 at the northern end of Boracay as a broader hospitality and entertainment area. Its plans also include Boracay Central, a lifestyle and retail development near Kaban.
The soft opening is scheduled for September 16, 2026, with a formal launch planned for October.
The gaming floor covers about 2,000 square metres and will include slots, table games and electronic gaming stations.
The casino operates under Philippine gaming regulation from PAGCOR, which oversees licensed casino operations in the country.
Kaban is located at Station 0 on the northern side of Boracay in Malay, Aklan.
