BSW Software took over an unfinished iGaming platform after a previous development team missed the launch deadline by more than two months.
Within roughly one month, BSW completed the core platform, integrated major game providers, rebuilt critical agent workflows, and prepared the system for rapid growth.
Today, the platform supports more than 31 million registered players, 700,000 active agents, around 10 million monthly visits, and over $1.5 million in daily deposits, while processing up to 15,000 requests per second at peak traffic.
The client operates an agent driven sportsbook and casino business in Latin America, where local agents play a central role in player acquisition, deposits, withdrawals, and ongoing customer relationships.
When BSW entered the project, the platform was incomplete and already more than two months behind schedule. The operator needed to launch quickly without sacrificing the architecture required for future growth.
Several areas required immediate attention:
A conventional sequential development cycle would have pushed the launch back even further.
BSW reorganized development around parallel delivery.
Backend development, specifications, testing, and third party integrations moved forward at the same time. Game provider APIs were connected while the core platform was still being completed, allowing the team to recover much of the time lost before BSW took over.
The first operational version was ready within roughly one month.
At the same time, BSW rebuilt key parts of the platform around the agent network rather than treating agents as an additional distribution channel.
That distinction was critical. With hundreds of thousands of agents handling player relationships and cash flow, accurate balances, commissions, and transaction records had to remain reliable at every stage of growth.
BSW reviewed financial calculations across agent commissions, balances, deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions.
The team identified and corrected inconsistencies inherited from the unfinished platform, creating a more dependable financial foundation for both the operator and its agents.
BSW also introduced self service tools that reduced operational overhead.
Agents can update their own WhatsApp contact links without waiting for support teams, helping them maintain direct communication with players.
Deposit and withdrawal processes were moved toward semi automated workflows, reducing manual processing and the risk of human error.
For player engagement, tournament mechanics provided an alternative to conventional bonus campaigns while protecting the commission structure used by the agent network.
BSW integrated major game studios before the platform went live, allowing the operator to launch with a broad casino portfolio rather than adding content gradually after release.
The integration framework was designed for reuse. New providers can now be added through the established integration architecture with substantially less additional development work.
That gives the operator a faster route to expanding its content portfolio as player demand changes.
Growth quickly exceeded the original infrastructure assumptions.
Rather than replacing the entire architecture while millions of players were already active, BSW scaled the platform in stages.
The team addressed server bottlenecks first, then increased capacity and optimized:
Each stage was load tested against production traffic before the next change was introduced.
BSW also implemented enterprise grade DDoS protection and geo filtering to reduce security and operational risks without creating unnecessary friction for legitimate players.
The platform can now process approximately 12,000 to 15,000 requests per second during peak periods without service degradation.
The platform developed with BSW now operates at a scale far beyond the requirements of the original launch.
Key results include:
The most important result is not simply traffic capacity.
An agent driven iGaming business depends on trust in balances, commissions, and transaction records. The financial and infrastructure work completed during the rebuild allowed that model to scale from a launch stage product into a platform serving tens of millions of players.
BSW turned a delayed and unfinished product into infrastructure capable of supporting one of the most demanding iGaming operating models in Latin America.
The project combined rapid software delivery with longer term architecture work: reliable agent accounting, self service management tools, streamlined payments, scalable integrations, traffic optimization, and DDoS protection.
Instead of rebuilding again as the operator grew, the platform was prepared to absorb that growth.
For iGaming businesses built around local agents, high transaction volumes, and rapidly expanding player bases, the project demonstrates how the right architecture can turn agent networks from an operational challenge into a scalable distribution model.
BSW Software develops custom sportsbook, casino, agent management, integration, and infrastructure solutions for operators worldwide.
