Mizrachi Adds Another June 29 Win

Mizrachi won the $50,000 Poker Players Championship on June 29, 2025, then followed that summer with a WSOP Main Event win and Poker Hall of Fame induction. One year later, he used the same date to win a different major bracelet event.

“Last year, on June 29, I won the PPC,” Mizrachi told WSOP’s Natalie Bode following his win. “And it’s June 29, 2026, and we won something different. I wanted to change it up a little bit.”

The win moved Mizrachi to nine bracelets, tying him with Benny Glaser and Johnny Moss for sixth on the all time WSOP bracelet list. Glaser had reached nine bracelets only three days earlier in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Mizrachi also said better health helped his summer.

“I just push myself harder and harder. This year, I got my health back. I feel much better. Lost 40 pounds since last main event, training twice a day, so I feel good. I’ve never felt any better than this, at 45.”

Final Table Runs Through The Grinder

Event #74: $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship paid 126 players. Mizrachi held a major lead with 37 players left, lost it briefly after Jesse Lonis built a stack, then took control again in a huge aces hand against Lonis.

From there, the final table became a Mizrachi knockout run. He eliminated Toby Joyce in eighth with a full house, then sent Lonis out in seventh when two pair held. Ian Matakis fell in fifth after Mizrachi hit runner runner two pair, and Martin Zamani exited fourth on the final hand of day 3.

The final day started with Mizrachi far ahead of Zarvan Tumboli and Michael Hahn. Hahn exited third after his pair and flush draw missed against Mizrachi pocket jacks. Tumboli doubled a few times heads up and cut the gap, but never took the lead. On the last hand, Tumboli had aces on a J 8 8 flop, while Mizrachi needed a jack or nine. The river nine gave Mizrachi a jack high straight and bracelet number nine.
