Stake Leads Livestream Gambling Visibility By Wide Margin

Stake stood well ahead of every other operator in gambling-related stream titles at the start of 2026, according to new data from StreamHatchet. The report points to a wide gap between Stake and the rest of the field, while also showing that prediction market brands are gaining real traction across Twitch and Kick.

Good to Know

  • Stake appeared in 6,600 stream titles on Twitch and Kick in January 2026, equal to 60% of all iGaming brand mentions.
  • Kick hosted the top ten iGaming livestreamers, who combined for 88.4 million hours watched in January.
  • Polymarket and Kalshi led the prediction market category, with 12,000 and 11,700 mentions respectively.

Stake Builds A Clear Lead In Gambling Stream Titles

The headline number is hard to miss. StreamHatchet found Stake mentioned in 6,600 stream titles across Twitch and Kick in January 2026. That gave the brand 60% of all iGaming mentions tracked in the report, putting it far ahead of every direct rival in gambling streaming visibility.

The rest of the ranking was not close. 1xBet followed with 1,800 mentions, then Betano with 837, Winamax with 653, FanDuel with 597, PokerStars with 270, and bet365 with 214. In simple terms, Stake did not just lead the list. It sat in a different tier.

A big reason appears to be the close tie between Stake and Kick. Kick is owned by the parent company of Stake, and StreamHatchet content manager Mark Rowland said many Kick streamers are given a bankroll by Stake to use while gambling on air. That arrangement helps explain why the operator name appears so often in stream titles, especially when sponsorships and branded credits are part of the setup.

Kick Sits At The Center Of Gambling Livestreaming

Twitch still holds the bigger share of the overall livestreaming market, but gambling content has found a friendlier home on Kick. That platform has taken a more open approach to gambling streams, which has helped it attract many of the biggest names in the category.

According to the report, the top ten iGaming livestreamers all streamed on Kick in January. Together they generated 88.4 million hours watched. Trainwreckstv led that group with 15.7 million hours watched, making him the biggest iGaming livestream draw in the period covered.

Commercial deals also help explain why some brands keep showing up. Rowland said operators often work directly with streamers, giving them credit to wager with in exchange for exposure that includes brand mentions in titles. Beyond Stake, he pointed to wider sports and esports sponsorship activity as another driver of visibility for operators like 1xBet and Betano. Football and esports both carry strong streaming audiences, especially in LatAm and Spain, so branding tied to those ecosystems can travel far.

Twitch Restrictions Help Shape The Market

Not every platform has taken the same path. Twitch allows some gambling content, but it bans streaming for certain gambling sites, including Stake and Rollbit, because of concerns tied to consumer protection and licensing.

That policy change came after a wider backlash in 2022, when some prominent creators raised concerns over the risk of gambling content for younger viewers and for people vulnerable to addictive behavior. Rowland pointed to that period as a turning point in how Twitch handled the category. As a result, Kick gained a stronger opening to become the main venue for gambling-heavy livestream content.

Prediction Markets Are Pulling In More Attention Too

The report was not only about casino and sportsbook brands. Prediction markets also posted strong numbers and are now taking up more space in betting-related discussion across livestreaming platforms.

Polymarket ranked first among betting and prediction market brands with 12,000 mentions in January 2026. Kalshi followed closely with 11,700. FanDuel took third at 8,800, followed by PrizePicks with 5,300 and DraftKings with 3,300.
