PhilWeb Corp has teamed up with the operator of Okada Manila to launch Okada Play, a new online gaming platform in the Philippines. The deal adds another digital channel for the Okada brand as land-based casino groups across the country look for more online gaming revenue.

Okada Manila Adds a New Online Gaming Brand
Rather than rely only on its casino resort business, Okada Manila is now widening its digital reach through Okada Play. PhilWeb said it will provide the full platform behind the new brand, including gaming content, platform technology, customer service infrastructure, and marketing support.
According to PhilWeb, the partnership is meant to help Okada Manila grow in the regulated online gaming market in the Philippines. Okada Play is also expected to work alongside the group existing online channels while helping attract new players.
“The partnership marks a significant step in expanding Okada Manila’s footprint into the digital gaming space, reinforcing its position as a leading premium integrated resort in the Philippines,” PhilWeb stated.

Nobuki Sato, president and chief operating officer of Okada Manila, said the platform is part of a wider digital plan for the brand.
“Okada Play marked a strategic step in scaling the group’s digital gaming presence and reinforcing our leadership in the market.”
He added: “By expanding our platform portfolio through this partnership, we are able to reach new player segments while continuing to elevate the premium digital experience associated with the Okada brand.”
That push comes at a useful time for the resort. For full-year 2025, gross gaming revenue at Okada Manila reached nearly PHP27.81 billion, or about US$462.0 million, down 20.1% from the prior year. Adjusted segmental EBITDA fell 44.0% to PHP4.27 billion.

PhilWeb Keeps Building Its Online Gaming Network
For PhilWeb, the Okada Play agreement adds another major resort brand to its platform business. The company said the partnership reflects ongoing demand for online gaming systems that can connect premium land-based brands with digital players.

The company also framed the deal as part of a wider blending of land-based casino gaming and online gaming, where platform technology and content now carry more weight.
Okada Play also follows another recent digital rollout from PhilWeb. In early February, the company launched Hann Online through a partnership with Hann Casino Resort in Clark Freeport Zone. More recently, PhilWeb also announced board changes after a management-led takeover, bringing in new leadership appointees.
