Tengco noted that integrated resort properties have helped attract visitors and expand entertainment offerings across major tourism hubs. He said gaming, hospitality, and entertainment should be viewed not as separate industries, but as mutually reinforcing drivers of economic activity:
“Gaming, entertainment, and hospitality are not separate worlds, but interconnected forces that drive growth, create jobs and enrich the tourism experience.”
Industry data shared during the event showed that gross gaming revenue climbed from 3.75 billion dollars in 2022 to 6.5 billion dollars in 2024, reflecting a strong and sustained rebound.

“The future of hospitality is being reshaped by technology and sustainability,” he said. “We must ensure that every guest experience also contributes to local well-being.”
Pagcor says continued dialogue between regulators, operators, and tourism partners will shape the next phase of growth for the integrated resort sector.
