The combined total from casino properties, iGaming, and sports wagering marked a 5.9% increase compared with the same month last year.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em><strong>Good to Know<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Pennsylvania\u2019s online slots grew more than 37% year over year.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Total <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino\/what-is-igaming\/\">iGaming<\/a> revenue reached $233.4 million for the month.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course topped all properties with $101.6 million in revenue.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Retail slot machines still generated the largest share of statewide revenue, pulling in $194 million, although that number was 1.5% lower than in 2024. Meanwhile, online slot play surged to $181.1 million, showing the biggest increase of any gaming category with a 37.1% rise.<\/p>\n<p>Online table games also posted a strong month, earning $50 million for an increase of 17.8%, while retail table games held nearly steady at $73.4 million, down just 0.1% from last year. Video gaming terminals brought in an additional $3.3 million, a slight 0.6% decline year over year.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, iGaming revenue climbed 32.1% in September, reaching $233.4 million statewide. The trend suggests that promotional spending and competitive odds likely ate into operator margins during the month.<\/p>\n<p>Among physical venues, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course again led the market with $101.6 million, up 23.1% from last year. Only four of the state\u2019s 19 reporting properties saw year-over-year declines. Live! Casino Philadelphia dropped 11.4% to $23.3 million, while Hollywood Casino at the Meadows slipped 38.4% to $17.8 million.<\/p>\n<p>Wind Creek Bethlehem experienced a mild 3.8% dip but still ranked fifth overall, generating $41.8 million. Other top performers included Valley Forge Casino Resort at $93.4 million (up 9.1%) and Rivers Casino Philadelphia at $53.1 million (up 4%). Parx Casino in Bensalem rose 1.7% to $53.1 million, and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh added 2.6% to reach $28.9 million in September revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Fantasy contest operators also contributed modest gains. DraftKings rose 2.3% to $1.4 million, while FanDuel jumped 32.6% to $392,347.
