Growth was recorded across casinos, iGaming, and sports wagering, with online platforms once again driving the sharpest increases.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em><strong>Good to know<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>iGaming revenue jumped 25.2% year over year, led by FanDuel and DraftKings.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Sports betting handle climbed to $814.3 million, a 16.5% increase.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Borgata Atlantic City led all casinos with $80.2 million in revenue.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Casino win remained the state\u2019s biggest revenue source, reaching $311.9 million, up 6.1% from August 2024. Borgata Atlantic City once again led the pack with $80.2 million, an 8.2% rise. Hard Rock ($58.3m) and Ocean Casino ($51.2m) were the only other properties to cross the $50 million threshold.<\/p>\n<p>Slot machine win totaled $234.3 million, up 5.7%, while table games generated $77.6 million, a 7.1% lift. Borgata also led in slots with $60.1 million (+12.1%), but its table games dipped slightly to $20.2 million (-2.2%).<\/p>\n<p>Tropicana ($25.9m, +3.8%) and Caesars Atlantic City ($24.8m, +3.1%) delivered steady gains. FanDuel led the way with $57.1 million (+38.2%), followed by DraftKings at $47.1 million (+9%). BetMGM and Borgata earned $32.6 million (+46.9%) and $20.6 million (+1.4%), respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Other strong performers included Caesars Palace ($17.1m, +21.7%) and Hard Rock Bet ($13.4m, +35.3%). Together, these operators cemented New Jersey\u2019s position as one of the top iGaming markets in the U.S.<\/p>\n<h2>Sports Betting Rebound<\/h2>\n<p>Sports wagering revenue climbed 30.6% to $81.9 million on a monthly handle of $814.3 million. FanDuel led online sportsbooks with $31.6 million (+30.7%), while DraftKings surged to $27.9 million (+80.1%). BetMGM posted $7.7 million (+73.2%), and bet365 jumped 47% to $5.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>Not every operator saw gains. On August 15, Governor Phil Murphy signed bills A5447 and S4282, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/new-jersey-outlaws-sweepstakes-casinos-and-proxy-betting\/\">banning sweepstakes casinos<\/a> and assigning enforcement powers to the Division of Consumer Affairs and DGE.
