The company, which owns Betway and Spin, says the focus now is on growing in regions where performance is already strong.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong><em>Good to know<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Africa, Europe, and Canada fueled most of the growth this quarter.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Betway accounted for over half of total income.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Super Group has no debt and nearly $400 million in cash.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>For the quarter ending June 30, revenue hit $579.4 million \u2014 up 30% from a year earlier and the highest in company history. Previously, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/super-group-q1-2025\/\">Q1<\/a> of this year had been a $517 million revenue quarter. Adjusted EBITDA reached $156.7 million, a 78% jump year over year. The $5.4 million cost of leaving the U.S. didn\u2019t stop the company from surpassing past performance.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Neal Menashe credited <em>\u201cstrong execution across our key markets, a full calendar of global sporting events, increased deposits, high customer retention, and margin expansion\u201d<\/em> for the record run. He added, <em>\u201cWhile our decision to exit the U.S. was difficult, we believe that this step demonstrates our commitment to capital efficiency and long-term profitability. With continued focus on scaling our technology globally, Super Group should be even better positioned for sustained, profitable growth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The exit came in two phases: first pulling out of sports betting last year, then shutting online casino operations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in May. Betway drove 61% of total revenue, while other regions like Latin America and Asia-Pacific saw declines. Even so, monthly active customers jumped 21% to 5.5 million. Profit before tax rose to $38.3 million from $22.1 million last year.<\/p>\n<p>CFO Alinda Van Wyk said,<em> \u201cThese results underscore our scalable, cost-efficient operating model and controlled marketing spend. We ended the quarter with $393 million in unrestricted cash and zero debt, and returned $20 million to shareholders, bringing our 12-month capital returns to $166 million.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With momentum building, full-year adjusted EBITDA is now expected to land between $470 million and $480 million, factoring in a $30 million U.S. exit loss. Without the U.S., the number rises to $500 million\u2013$510 million.
