The integrated resort in Colombo is now open to guests, with a Melco-branded hotel and casino already operational.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong><em>Good to know<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>City of Dreams Sri Lanka is the country\u2019s largest-ever private investment.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The 113-room N\u00dcWA hotel and the casino have already opened.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Melco\u2019s CEO believes Colombo has potential similar to Macau\u2019s role near China.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts, shared his thoughts in a press release over the weekend. <em>\u201cWe are honoured to partner with John Keells Group on this visionary project,\u201d<\/em> he said. <em>\u201cCity of Dreams Sri Lanka reflects a remarkable collaboration, combining Melco\u2019s expertise with the warmth and culture of Sri Lanka.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The project has been described as South Asia\u2019s first integrated resort, with N\u00dcWA Colombo already welcoming guests.
