The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) shared the latest update, revealing where the money came from, how it was spent, and what changed compared to last year.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong><em>Good to know<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>June 2025 online gaming and betting brought in $285.2m in gross receipts, up 24.9% from a year earlier.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>iGaming alone hit $226m in adjusted gross receipts, jumping 37.3% year-over-year.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Incentive Games received its professional gaming license on July 8, clearing the way for operations in Michigan.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h2>Revenue moves up from last year, down from May<\/h2>\n<p>Michigan\u2019s iGaming and sports betting operators combined for $285.2m in gross receipts in June. Compared to June 2024, that marked a 24.9% increase. <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino\/what-is-igaming\/\">iGaming<\/a> was the stronger contributor, reporting $226m in adjusted gross receipts\u2014a 37.3% rise over the prior year. Sports betting also saw a big swing, turning around from a $28.2m deficit last June to $30.5m in adjusted gross receipts this time.<\/p>\n<p>Still, the June 2025 numbers fell short of what was seen in May. iGaming receipts dropped by 4.3% month-over-month, and sports betting slipped even more, down 14.4% from the previous month.<\/p>\n<h2>Handle and tax details<\/h2>\n<p>Michigan\u2019s sports betting handle reached $302.7m in June, which was a 9.4% increase from June 2024.
