The new law aims to permanently shut down what remains of the once-booming industry. At the same time, the Cura\u00e7ao Gambling Authority began <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/curacao-embarks-on-gaming-industry-overhaul-with-landmark-legislation\/\">overhauling<\/a> its own licensing framework.<\/p>\n<p>In the United Kingdom, the Gambling Commission rolled out <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/sports-news\/uk-gambling-commission-introduces-new-rules-on-deposits-player-funds-and-levy\/\">new rules<\/a> that require operators to let users set deposit limits before they make their first payment.
