He leaves the post after helping guide the agency through a period of growth, especially in regulating Germany\u2019s fast-changing online market.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe online gambling market has developed rapidly in recent years,\u201d<\/em> Moser said. He praised the GGL\u2019s progress in tackling illegal gambling and in building a trusted regulatory structure for licensed operators.<\/p>\n<p>He also stressed how collaboration between the states and the GGL remains key to effective regulation.<\/p>\n<h2>Rotation Keeps Balance Among Federal States<\/h2>\n<p>Under German law, the GGL rotates its chair annually based on the alphabetical order of the federal states.
