The introductory phase of the Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort is now on track to open in spring 2026.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em><strong>Good to know<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>The temporary casino began offering <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/catawba-two-kings-casino-introduces-live-table-games\/\">live table games<\/a> on June 21, 2024.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The main resort opening is scheduled for 2027.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The current hotel tower stands at 10 stories, with new levels added weekly.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Work is active across the entire site. After <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/catawba-nation-breaks-ground-on-major-casino-and-hotel-project-in-north-carolina\/\">groundbreaking<\/a> in June of last year,\u00a0 foundations for both the hotel and casino were quickly completed, and construction crews continue to add new floors to the hotel tower. The building has now reached full height, and the structure continues to grow as an additional floor is added nearly every week.<\/p>\n<p>Catawba Nation Chief Brian Harris spoke about the broader impact of the project: <em>\u201cThis casino resort will be an economic game changer for Catawba citizens and a force to drive the economy of Cleveland County and the City of Kings Mountain.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The first phase of the casino resort will feature 1,350 slot machines and 20 table games, alocatangside a 40-seat restaurant, sports betting kiosks, a bar, and a Lucky North Rewards desk.
