The investigation found no ongoing legal violations, clearing the company to resume its business-to-business activities in the state.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em><strong>Good to know<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>High 5 Games exited Connecticut\u2019s direct-to-consumer market earlier this year.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The company paid nearly $1.5 million in a settlement, including restitution and penalties.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Geo-blocking and improved KYC tools are now in place for compliance.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p>Back in March 2025, the DCP <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/high-5-games-responds-to-connecticut-license-suspension-with-commitment-to-compliance\/\">suspended<\/a> <\/strong>High 5 Games\u2019 license after it found the company had been operating an unlicensed online casino. A settlement followed, totaling nearly $1.5 million. Of that, over $643,000 went directly to players, and almost $800,000 was allocated to consumer protection efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Before that review even began, High 5 Games had already started pulling out of all U.S. regulated iGaming states, including Connecticut. That process was completed by January 2025, and the company made it clear that it would not be returning to the sweepstakes space with any direct-to-consumer offerings.<\/p>\n<p>Now, with the review finalized and no new issues identified, High 5 Games can once again supply slot content to licensed platforms in Connecticut.
