The CEO of ZEAL Network SE, Dr. Helmut Becker, has declared his intention to retire on January 31, 2026, when his contract expires. Becker wants to pursue other business ventures after serving on the company\u2019s Executive Board for more than 12 years and as CEO for more than 10 years. To ensure a seamless transition for his successor, he will continue to be dedicated to his duties until the end of his tenure.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his tenure, Becker expressed confidence in ZEAL\u2019s future growth. \u201cZEAL is in an excellent position to continue to grow in the future. After almost ten years as CEO, I have decided that now is the right time to pursue my own entrepreneurial endeavours,\u201d<\/em> he said. Becker highlighted his appreciation for the company\u2019s culture of innovation, customer focus, and teamwork.<\/p>\n

Supervisory Board Praises Becker\u2019s Contributions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Peter Steiner, Chairman of ZEAL\u2019s Supervisory Board, expressed regret over Becker\u2019s decision, acknowledging his transformative leadership. \u201cHelmut Becker has played a decisive role in taking ZEAL\u2019s business development to a new level,\u201d<\/em> Steiner stated. He credited Becker for expanding ZEAL\u2019s market leadership, broadening its customer base, and driving product innovation.<\/p>\n

During his time as CEO, Becker oversaw significant milestones, including ZEAL\u2019s acquisition of LOTTO24 AG and its return to the German market<\/a>. He also introduced key offerings such as freiheit+, Games, and Traumhausverlosung.<\/p>\n

Becker joined ZEAL\u2019s Executive Board in 2015 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for two years. Prior to that, he was on the company\u2019s Supervisory Board for two years. His extensive experience also includes leadership roles at XING AG as Chief Commercial Officer and management positions at eBay Germany. Becker\u2019s strategic vision and operational expertise have been instrumental in ZEAL\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n
