Brazil\u2019s regulated betting market is expanding rapidly, with the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) issuing additional full licenses. Initially, only 14 companies secured full approval ahead of the market\u2019s official launch on January 1. However, another 52 operators received provisional licenses, allowing them to operate temporarily while awaiting final certification.<\/p>\n

Provisional license holders were granted a 30-day operating window, which ended on January 30. This period could be extended by another 30 days if companies received support from certifying entities but needed extra time to meet regulatory standards. Since then, previously excluded firms have gained authorization, and seven additional operators received temporary approval due to court rulings.<\/p>\n

With the latest approvals published in the Official Gazette of the Union, the total number of fully licensed operators has risen to 35. These operators collectively represent 173 brands now authorized to offer betting services in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Top Industry Players Among New Licensees<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The latest batch of full licenses includes well-known global and local betting brands. Kaizen Gaming\u2019s Betano and Bet365 secured approvals, alongside domestic operators like Aposta Ganha and Betsul.<\/p>\n
