On <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/live-casino-and-hotel-louisiana-prepares-for-february-opening\/\">February 13, 2025, the $270 million facility is expected to open<\/a>, becoming the first landside casino in the Shreveport-Bossier area.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Visionary Leader for Financial Operations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Having previously held important financial positions across well-known gaming properties, Hinton offers a plethora of knowledge to his new post. His most recent position was Director of Finance for Landry\u2019s Galveston Area. His broad experience also includes positions as CFO at Margaritaville Resort Casino, Coushatta Casino Resort, and Louisiana Downs Casino and Racetrack.<\/p>\n<p>Hinton will be in charge of crucial financial functions as vice president of finance, such as revenue audits, analytics, and accounting. In order to guarantee the resort\u2019s operational effectiveness and financial stability, he will also oversee financial strategy and development.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGreg\u2019s extensive experience in finance and operations will be invaluable as we prepare for our early 2025 opening,\u201d<\/em> stated John Chaszar, EVP and GM of Live!
