NACC Secretary-General Sarote Phuengramphan affirmed that there is enough evidence to proceed with the investigation, including witness statements. The matter is currently being aggressively monitored by the NACC.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Parallel Accusations Against Surachate Hakparn<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The NACC is also scrutinizing a separate case involving Pol General Surachate Hakparn, the former deputy national police chief. Known as \u201cBig Joke,\u201d Surachate faces allegations of accepting bribes from gambling websites and engaging in money laundering. However, Sarote noted that additional evidence is needed to advance this case.<\/p>\n<p>Surachate\u2019s career has faced significant turbulence. In a royal command issued earlier, he was removed from his position, further fueling speculation about his involvement in corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Torsak\u2019s tenure was equally tumultuous. Suspended in March amid disputes with Surachate, Torsak returned to his role in June before being replaced by Pol General Kitrat Phanphet on October 1.
