The company\u2019s relationships in both established and growing markets are intended to be strengthened by these additions.<\/p>\n<p>Cesar Fernandez, FanDuel\u2019s Head of State Government Relations, expressed enthusiasm for the new hires. <em>\u201cAs we continue to evolve our government relations team, we are excited to bring in two experienced professionals who understand our business, are deeply respected by legislators and can help us continue to show the positive impact legal and regulated gaming can have for states,\u201d<\/em> Fernandez stated.<\/p>\n<h2>James Hartmann Brings Legal and Legislative Expertise<\/h2>\n<p>Hartmann\u2019s extensive legal and legislative background positions him well for his new role. He began his career as a prosecutor in Chicago and New York City before transitioning to politics. Hartmann eventually served as Chief Counsel to the Illinois Speaker of the House and House Parliamentarian.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on his appointment, Hartmann shared his admiration for FanDuel\u2019s approach<em>. \u201cFanDuel has always stood out to me for the company\u2019s innovation and its commitment to shaping the future of gaming in a responsible way,\u201d<\/em> he said. <em>\u201cI look forward to bringing my legislative and legal expertise to the team in a way that continues to support FanDuel\u2019s growth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trombetta\u2019s career in gaming regulation offers a unique perspective.
