Hyatt\u2019s Destination brand now includes the renowned Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This action comes as the first phase of its $340 million makeover is finished. The Rio, which is a part of the Destination by Hyatt portfolio, seeks to provide visitors with a profound connection to the lively energy of Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

A Fresh Identity and Enhanced Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The property, owned and managed by Dreamscape Companies, becomes the largest in Hyatt\u2019s global portfolio by room count. It also makes history as Nevada\u2019s first Destination by Hyatt-branded resort casino. The renovation is underway to modernize the Rio while honoring its iconic status in Las Vegas. The first phase has revitalized the 1,500-room Ipanema Tower, infusing it with a fresh design inspired by Rio de Janeiro\u2019s cultural elements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Rio is an icon reborn,\u201d<\/em> said Mike Waddell, Hyatt\u2019s Senior VP of Global Franchise Operations. \u201cWe\u2019re excited for our members and guests to discover the experiences that make Rio Las Vegas a standout destination for global travelers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Alongside the redesign of its accommodations, Rio unveiled six new culinary destinations within the Canteen Food Hall. The casino floor also boasts an additional 500 slot machines and 30 new table games, enhancing the guest experience. Rio\u2019s President and CEO, Patrick Miller, emphasized that the resort is not just evolving but also honoring its legacy as a key player in Las Vegas\u2019s entertainment scene. \u201cWe\u2019ve not only reenergized the resort\u2019s design, but we\u2019ve proudly honored its legacy as a quintessential Las Vegas icon,\u201d<\/em> Miller said.<\/p>\n

Phase two of the renovation will focus on redesigning and modernizing the Masquerade Tower, including both guestrooms and public spaces. This next phase aims to ensure a consistent, elevated experience for all guests across the property.<\/p>\n
