Bally\u2019s Corporation has formalized an agreement to sell its interactive business across Asia and select international markets, according to an 8-K filing. This deal will shift ownership to a company formed by members of Bally\u2019s own interactive business team, referred to in the filing as the \u201cCarved-Out Business.\u201d Through this sale, Bally\u2019s plans to focus more intently on its North American and European operations.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, Bally\u2019s will provide essential transition services to ensure a smooth shift in management. Additionally, the carved-out business will license specific Bally\u2019s intellectual property for an initial five-year term, with an option for extension. The 8-K form detailing the sale was signed by Bally\u2019s Chief Legal Officer Kim Barker. Financially, Bally\u2019s North America Interactive segment showed impressive growth, with a 94.7% increase year-over-year in Q2 2024, totaling $49.2 million. Meanwhile, Bally\u2019s international interactive revenue dropped from $247.8 million in Q2 2023 to $229.4 million in Q2 2024, reflecting a shift in the company\u2019s global strategy. Despite this, Bally\u2019s overall revenue still rose by 2.5% year-over-year in the quarter, showcasing steady growth.<\/p>\n
