Notably, the purchase price remains undisclosed.<\/p>\n<h2>A Boost for iGaming Success<\/h2>\n<p>Giannantonio confirmed that the acquisition was finalized on September 1, emphasizing the potential for growth. <em>\u201cWe are confident that this transaction will propel Resorts Digital\u2019s proven success over the past decade to a new level through the scale of Boyd Interactive and its market-leading platform,\u201d<\/em> he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Boyd Interactive echoed these sentiments, stating that the acquisition<em> \u201cis consistent with Boyd Gaming\u2019s strategy of building a profitable regional iGaming business integrated with our existing nationwide portfolio.\u201d<\/em> They highlighted New Jersey\u2019s significance in the iGaming landscape, stating, <em>\u201cNew Jersey has long been one of the nation\u2019s leading iGaming states, and we look forward to further growing our presence in that state\u2019s online gaming market in partnership with Resorts Casino in Atlantic City.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Following the acquisition, Resorts Digital will maintain operations under the existing sports betting and internet gambling licenses of Resorts Casino. Moreover, Resorts Casino will continue partnerships with other online gaming entities, including DraftKings, Penn Gaming, PokerStars, and ESPN Bet.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the deal, Boyd Interactive gains access to ResortsCasino.com and MoheganSunCasino.com, along with an unused sports betting skin. The two companies plan to cross-promote their brands, with Resorts promoting ResortsCasino.com within its physical casino.
