Key figures included Nevada Rep. Dina Titus, Washington Commanders Co-Owner Mark Ein, DraftKings CRGO Lori Kalani, MGM National Harbor President and CEO Melonie Johnson, and AGA President and CEO Bill Miller.<\/p>\n<p>Miller emphasized the industry\u2019s dedication to responsible gaming, stating, <em>\u201cIt is an important time in the gaming industry to showcase our commitment to responsible gaming as operators and businesses cannot be successful without instilling a customers-first approach.\u201d<\/em> He noted that sports betting continues to expand, with two-thirds of American adults now able to place wagers legally.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>DraftKings and MGM National Harbor Highlight Responsible Gaming Efforts<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>DraftKings\u2019 Lori Kalani highlighted the company\u2019s commitment to responsible gaming, detailing their new My Stat sheet. This tool helps users track their betting and spending habits. Kalani explained,<em> \u201cOur main goal at DraftKings is to develop responsible gaming habits for our users.\u201d<\/em> She added that the resource is highly utilized, stating, <em>\u201cWe\u2019re seeing a 10x rate in which these resources are being interacted with and the feedback from our consumer base has been all positive.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>MGM National Harbor\u2019s Melonie Johnson discussed their employee training program, which has prepared 500 staff members as responsible gaming advisors. She highlighted the property\u2019s new Game Sense resource, designed to promote responsible gaming among guests.<em> \u201cIf it is not fun, you shouldn\u2019t play. That is what we believe,\u201d<\/em> Johnson said, emphasizing their commitment to guest well-being.<\/p>\n<p>The panel also touched on recent legislative developments. On September 12, Senator Richard Blumenthal and Representative Paul Tonko introduced the SAFE Bet Act, proposing a nationwide ban on sports betting.
