He was the last man standing among 187 entrants, securing his first WSOP bracelet and a prize of $2,100,325.<\/p>\n<p>The final day started with five players, four of whom had already won WSOP bracelets. Perkusic was the only one without a bracelet, but after just a few hours, he was celebrating his win. This victory marks Perkusic\u2019s second live tournament win, his first being at the 2022 European Poker Tour Barcelona \u20ac10,200 PLO event, where he won $268,042. His latest win brings his total tournament earnings to nearly $2.8 million.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament\u2019s 187 entries created a prize pool of $8,929,250. Notable players who made it to the money included Dan Smith (27th), Dylan Weisman (25th), Anthony Zinno (20th), Jason Mercier (18th), Cary Katz (12th), Sean Winter (10th), Ben Lamb (9th), Brian Rast (8th), and David Benyamine (7th).<\/p>\n<p>Danny Tang, a Triton Series regular and familiar face on the Asian Poker Tour, led the final day\u2019s chip count, with Perkusic in the middle. Santhosh Suvarna was the first to be eliminated, earning $503,085 for fifth place. His overpair of aces couldn\u2019t beat Perkusic\u2019s flopped set of eights. Ronald Keijzer was next to go, earning $692,232 for fourth place after his bluff was called by Tang\u2019s queens full of tens.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Collopy, a three-time bracelet winner, finished third.
