The World Series of Poker $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) championship drew 811 participants this year, up from 731 in 2023 and 683 in 2022. The large turnout in the 66th event of this series resulted in a prize pool of $7,542,300. Elie Nakache from France won the event, taking home $1,320,945 and his first WSOP bracelet.<\/p>\n

This was Nakache\u2019s first seven-figure win. Before this, he had never recorded a six-figure cash in any tournament. His lifetime earnings are now nearly $1.5 million.<\/p>\n

The event lasted four days. The top 122 players finished in the money, with the minimum cash at $20,099. The final nine players each earned six figures or more. Notable players included bracelet winner Stephen Chidwick (17th), David Benyamine (8th), who recently placed fifth in the Poker Players Championship, and bracelet winner Eelis Parssinen (6th).<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his win, Nakache said, \u201cI\u2019m a spin player, but during the last two years, I fell in love with PLO. I like to play a lot of hands, and tournaments are perfect for that. I had the feeling that I could do something in this tournament. And it was amazing. I\u2019m very lucky, and I won a bracelet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
