panish poker pro Sergio Aido has secured the largest top prize at the 2024 World Series of Poker so far. By outlasting 177 entries in\u00a0Event #39: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold\u2019em (8-Handed), Aido claimed his first WSOP gold bracelet and a whopping $2,026,506.<\/p>\n

Aido\u2019s total lifetime tournament earnings now stand at nearly $21.4 million, placing him second on Spain\u2019s all-time money list.<\/p>\n

The event attracted 177 entries, creating an $8,451,750 prize pool that was shared among the top 27 finishers. Aido came out on top after besting a tough field that included well-known poker pros like Mikita Badziakouski (19th), Chris Brewer (18th), Artur Martirosian (12th), Martin Kabrhel (10th), Leon Sturm (9th), Viktor Blom (3rd), and Chance Kornuth (2nd).<\/p>\n

This win was Aido\u2019s first and seventh final-table finish of 2024. When asked about his feelings after winning his first bracelet, Aido replied, \u201cYeah, it feels very good, of course, it\u2019s something special. So, yeah, I had a very good idea about this. The best thing in my poker career for me for the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
