Sean Troha achieved a remarkable feat by winning his third consecutive<\/strong><\/em> World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in Event #24: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. Troha bested a field of 259 players and triumphed over Tyler Brown in heads-up play to secure the title and a prize of $536,713 at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Last year Troha grabbed his 2nd bracelet<\/a> in Event #34, a $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.<\/p>\n

Winning three WSOP bracelets is impressive, but doing so in three consecutive years is extraordinary. Troha, reflecting on his win, said, \u201cI\u2019m still kind of in shock. I\u2019m trying to make plans for the celebration, which will be muted. It all happened so fast.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Entering Day 3 as the short stack, Troha managed to double up twice early in the tournament, which was crucial to his success. \u201cThose two double-ups were crucial, obviously. But I had really good hands (in those spots). There wasn\u2019t too much variance in my stack until about three or four-handed. I was just lucky enough to come out on top,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n

Despite his impressive accomplishments, Troha remains humble and looks forward to future challenges. He plans to return next year and continue competing in Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) events for the rest of this series. \u201cI imagine I\u2019ll be back next year, God willing. And the rest of this series. I\u2019ll be in almost any PLO event,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n
