Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has recruited Phil Richards as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Platform & Sportsbook in a calculated attempt to strengthen its management team. This appointment is in line with GiG\u2019s continuous initiatives, spearheaded by CEO Richard Carter, to strengthen its senior leadership.<\/p>\n

Richards, who has held important financial positions in the iGaming, cybersecurity, and accountancy industries, adds a lot of knowledge to GiG. His stellar career history includes positions at Kambi, Shell, and KPMG. He most recently held the role of CFO at Corero Network Security plc. He has a strong foundation in both online sports betting<\/a> and financial management, which gives him the ability to lead GiG Platform & Sportsbook\u2019s operational discipline and achieve strong financial success.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Richards will oversee the finance department\u2019s evolution and support the company\u2019s broader strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and market development. Notably, he will play a crucial part as Platform & Sportsbook prepares for its Nasdaq Stockholm listing.<\/p>\n
