The push for tax rate hikes comes amid disparities between neighboring states\u2019 tax regimes. New York and Pennsylvania, for instance, boast some of the highest tax rates for online gaming operators in the nation, yielding significantly higher revenues than New Jersey. While New York imposes a hefty 51% tax rate, Pennsylvania follows closely with a 36% levy.<\/p>\n
