The well-known Serbian gambling operator MaxBet was successfully acquired by gaming behemoth Flutter Entertainment in a deliberate attempt to bolster its position in Eastern Europe. Announced in September 2023, the \u20ac141 million purchase gives Flutter a 51% share in MaxBet, creating additional opportunities for international growth.<\/p>\n

With the closing of the MaxBet purchase, Flutter Entertainment has taken a big step toward its goal of becoming the world\u2019s leading provider of gaming, entertainment, and sports betting. With this action, Flutter is able to take advantage of MaxBet\u2019s robust presence in the Balkans, notably in nations like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n
