Sisal, Italy\u2019s top internet operator and a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc, has received Gold in the EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings for 2023. Sisal has been recognized by EcoVadis, one of the world\u2019s most reliable corporate sustainability ratings, for the second year in a row, having been granted Silver in 2021.<\/p>\n

The EcoVadis rating examines 21 sustainability factors across four major categories \u2013 Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement \u2013 with Sisal receiving a score of 72 out of 100, placing the firm in the top 96th percentile. Sisal achieved significant progress across essential areas, such as obtaining 97% of its power from renewable sources and establishing initiatives and policies to promote diversity, fairness, and inclusion, as well as corporate ethics.<\/p>\n

The achievement of Gold designation indicates Sisal\u2019s commitment to fostering more sustainable, responsible, and inclusive futures in the communities and markets in which we operate. It also represents Flutter\u2019s Positive Impact Plan, which includes a strategy for empowering colleagues to Work Better by creating dynamic, inclusive, and fair environments.<\/p>\n

EcoVadis\u2019 business sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards such as the UN Global Compact\u2019s Ten Principles \u2013 of which Sisal has been a signatory since 2021 \u2013 the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings give an evidence-based performance analysis as well as a concrete plan for continual development.<\/p>\n
