As we near the conclusion of 2022, it\u2019s time to start planning for a fresh new PokerStars<\/a> event series, this time in honor of the impending New Year.<\/p>\n

To give you a valid reason to step away from certain Christmas duties, PokerStars has released the specifics of their New Year Series, which will consist of 334 events contested over the 24 days that will convert 2022 into 2023.<\/p>\n

The series has a total prize pool of $40 million, including $3.75 million for the Main Events, which will be contested over three buy-in levels from January 15-17.<\/p>\n

Along the way, there\u2019s everything you\u2019d expect from a big PokerStars event series: tournaments in almost every variation, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to a $10,000 High Roller.<\/p>\n

On January 1, there will also be a 2023-themed special event.<\/p>\n

The New Year Series will run from December 25 of this year, 2022, to January 17 of the following year, 2023.<\/p>\n

The majority of the 140 events offer the now-standard low, medium, and high buy-in levels, so there is something for players of all skill levels. Series\u2019 highlights include:<\/p>\n
