Sports betting and gaming giant\u00a0888 Holdings\u00a0has completed the previously announced\u00a0sale of its entire B2C and B2B bingo businesses\u00a0to\u00a0Broadway Gaming Group\u2019s\u00a0Saphalata Holdings.<\/p>\n

888 will continue to provide Broadway with certain transitional services\u00a0for a period of up to 12 months in the deal worth $45.25 million.<\/p>\n

888 Holdings explained that the sale will allow the firm \u201cto improve focus\u00a0on delivering against our strategy to be a global leader in online betting and gaming,\u00a0by building market-leading positions in attractive regulated markets, driven by proprietary technology, product leadership, leading brands, and marketing expertise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Itai Pazner, CEO of 888,\u00a0commented:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to express my immense gratitude for all of the hard work of the bingo team over the years and in particular their unwavering commitment to the business since we announced the transaction.\u00a0As part of a dedicated bingo operator, I am very confident in the future prospects of the bingo business and wish the team well.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Pazner added:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe successful completion of this strategic transaction enables 888 to further increase its focus on\u00a0integration with William Hill\u00a0and delivering on our mission to be one of the world\u2019s leading online betting and gaming businesses.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

David Butler, CEO of Broadway Gaming,\u00a0<\/strong>said<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to complete the acquisition of 888\u2019s high-quality bingo business and platform.\u00a0By combining these with our existing business and brands, which include \u2018Butlers Bingo\u2019, we will be able to achieve an even stronger global footprint in key regulated bingo markets.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

888 Holdings already\u00a0owns SI Sportsbook and Mr Green, and recently finalized the acquisition<\/a> of the international, non-US assets of\u00a0William Hill\u00a0from Caesars.<\/p>\n
