GAMSTOP, the free national scheme for self-exclusion from online gambling, has won this years \u201cData for Good initiative\u201d at the 2022 British Data Awards.<\/p>\n

GAMSTOP successfully enables over 280,000 UK adults to protect themselves from gambling related harm and this award further validates the significant impact a data initiative like this has on potentially vulnerable people.<\/p>\n

GAMSTOP is the UK\u2019s free online gambling self-exclusion scheme. Users sign up by filling in personal details, and selecting a period of six months, twelve months, or five years. Once complete, they are self-excluded from all online gambling sites in the UK until they chose to remove it after their chosen exclusion time has elapsed.<\/p>\n
