The 53rd\u00a0World Series of Poker (WSOP<\/a>)<\/strong> event schedule for 2022 is announced.\u00a0After being hosted for 17-years at the\u00a0Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the WSOP\u00a0has found a new home on the Las Vegas Strip, at\u00a0Bally\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Bally\u2019s is in the process of being rebranded as Horseshoe,\u00a0and\u00a0Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, and allows the event to increase capacity, with more than 200,000 square feet and 600 poker tables set up.<\/p>\n

The 53rd<\/sup> edition of the WSOP will kick off\u00a0Tuesday, March 31 and end on Wednesday, July 20.\u00a0The $10,000 No-Limit Hold\u2019em World Championship WSOP Main Event, with defending champion Koray Aldemir<\/a>, will be held July 3 to 16 at Bally\u2019s and Paris Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Moreover, in contrast to last year\u2019s edition, this year players will not have to wear masks, in accordance with current health guidelines and a proof of vaccination will no longer be required.<\/p>\n
