Its current banking page lists bank payments, debit cards, PayPal and Venmo.<\/p>\n<p>Credit card deposits can carry immediate cash advance interest and transaction charges. Senator Elizabeth Warren raised that issue in February letters to Hard Rock Digital and other operators.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhile Americans who gamble in states where it is legal should remain free to do so,\u201d<\/em> Warren wrote,<em> \u201cthey should not have to deal with undisclosed credit card fees that rig the odds against them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Borrowing also removes the natural limit created by a bank balance. Players can continue betting after spending available income, while interest and cash advance fees increase the final loss.<\/p>\n<p>Hard Rock Bet follows a wider operator retreat. <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/draftkings-stops-credit-card-deposits\/\">DraftKings<\/a> removed credit card deposits in August 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/sports-news\/fanduel-ends-credit-card-deposits-across-united-states\/\">FanDuel<\/a> ended them on March 2, 2026, while <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/caesars-drops-credit-card-deposits-from-us-online-gambling-sites\/\">Caesars<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/casino-news\/betmgm-follows-rivals-on-credit-card-deposit-ban\/\">BetMGM<\/a> also stopped accepting the payment method during 2026.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>State Rules Reduce Credit Card Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Several states already prohibit credit card funding for online betting. The list includes Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and Illinois, while Virginia approved its own restriction in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio regulators have also proposed banning credit card deposits for sports wagering accounts. More state rules would force operators to maintain different payment systems in each market, giving national operators another reason to apply one policy everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Hard Rock Bet had already faced direct political pressure over credit card use.
