The TDA aims to create more consistent live poker rules across major tournaments. Here are the 9 changes and improvements that have come out.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Smart glasses face a ban<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Meta glasses and similar wearable devices will not be allowed at tournament tables. Organisers want to prevent recording, outside communication and access to external information.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. All-in actions must be clear<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A player who goes all-in must either push the full stack forward or leave all chips in place after a verbal declaration. Keeping chips behind to confuse an opponent may count as angle-shooting.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. Hate speech brings faster penalties<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Tournament staff will receive clearer authority to punish abusive, discriminatory or threatening language directed at players, dealers or employees.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4. Chip penalties offer another option<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Directors may issue chip penalties instead of forcing a player to miss a full orbit. The change gives staff more flexibility during fast structures.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. Stacks of 20 become the standard<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Players should arrange same-value chips in vertical stacks of 20. Higher-value chips must remain visible so dealers and opponents can estimate stacks quickly.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>6. Out-of-turn action receives tighter treatment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Players who check, call or act before their turn may lose later betting options. Heads-up pots received particular attention because early action can influence the other player.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>7. Mixed games receive more attention<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The TDA plans to develop broader guidance for HORSE and other mixed-game formats instead of focusing mainly on No-Limit Hold\u2019em.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>8. Livestream rules remain under review<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cameras, delayed broadcasts and outside communication continue to create integrity concerns.
