While I\u2019ll remain a shareholder, I will no longer have any active role or involvement with The Lodge.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Over the past several years, I&#8217;ve had the opportunity to help Lodge Card Club become one of the premier poker destinations in Texas. That wouldn&#8217;t have been possible without an incredible team, loyal members, and a passionate poker community. <\/p>\n<p>As many of you know, I&#8217;ve always\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Doug Polk (Code Doug) (@DougPolkVids) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DougPolkVids\/status\/2073022872692363667?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 3, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The Lodge enters the new phase only months after state investigators raided the Round Rock room on March 10 during an illegal gambling and money laundering investigation. Authorities froze assets, and the business laid off staff while the venue remained closed. A Williamson County grand jury later declined to approve charges, clearing the route for the club to <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/poker-news\/the-lodge-card-club-sets-may-26-return-after-texas-raid\/\">reopen on May 26<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Polk had consistently argued that the club operated within Texas law. His departure now leaves day-to-day control with the existing management and wider ownership group.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Lodge has accomplished a great deal over the past several years, and I\u2019m grateful to everyone who helped make that possible,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI have every confidence in the current management team, employees, and ownership, who remain committed to providing a first-class experience for players in both Round Rock and San Antonio. I expect The Lodge will continue to thrive.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen remain part of the ownership group. Nikhil \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/poker\/nik-airball-net-worth\/\">Nik Airball<\/a>\u201d Arcot and Ethan \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/poker\/rampage-poker-youtube-channel\/\">Rampage<\/a>\u201d Yau joined as investors in 2025.<\/p>\n<p><em>Polk also thanked the players who supported the Texas poker rooms.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe friendships and community we\u2019ve built together mean a great deal to me,\u201d<\/em> he said. <em>\u201cI\u2019ll always appreciate being part of that journey. This feels like the right time for me to close this chapter.
